Kids on Gallaghers Child Care Centre - Babies

6 weeks to 12 months

The babies program is based off children’s interests and developmental milestones. As it is a younger age group, educators will guide babies to explore their environment through activities as well as encouraging children to take risks to develop their learning.

The ratio in this room is 1 educator to 4 children under the age of 3. You will find a room leader and an assistant in this room, who are nurturing and caring in their interactions with babies, as emotional wellbeing is important at this age.

The babies room is based off individual children’s routines as at this age the child may be having multiple sleeps and feeding times. We do have a set lunch time in this room which works around the individual child’s routine.
